Malakat Records is the MENA region’s first Womxn focused record label, with studios based in Amman, Jordan.

In Arabic, the word “Malakat” refers to an innate ability, one beyond causality or reason. Fittingly, at Malakat we seek to synthesize these dormant energies into borderless post-genre sounds, into a category that defies categorization.

Malakat is currently looking to build a roster of Arab Womxn talents to host and support. Malakat will also be delivering workshops to aspiring artists, to be announced on our platforms in due time.
